２０１６年度～２０１７年度にかけて、那覇中央ＬＣと那覇守礼ＬＣ合同アクティビティとして、ＬＣＩＦ交付金を利用してラオスに小学校を建設しました。

　その詳細についてまとめました。

追加の電気工事の様子がＩＳＳＣ石原代表より届きました。

大変お世話になっております、国際学校建設支援協会の石原です。

ご支援いただきましたポーンドゥア小学校の電気工事につきましてご報告させていただきます。

工事中の様子と、完成後の写真、点灯時、スイッチの写真などお送りします。

お陰様で扇風機も回せるようになり、暑い時期を乗り切ることができています。

ラオスの小学校を訪問した国際学校建設支援協会（ＩＳＳＣ）の石原代表より現在の報告がありました。

電気工事とトイレ設置の追加工事を行いました。

Phondeua小学校開校式の前にターケーク教育局に訪問。初の女性局長Bunkam先生が丁重に面会して頂き、前回訪問時の約束のアルバムを贈呈する。

We come to Thakhek Education Bureau before going to Phodeua Primary School. Mis.Bunkam, a first woman head of this bureau welcomes us with sincerity, and I give a gift of photo albums of construction story of this school.

Phondeua小学校開校式にはターケーク市長のChanh BOUPHALIVANH様初めBunkam教育局局長や村長等のご参加を頂き厳粛に執り行われた。偉い方々が多くて祝辞の挨拶も長く時計を気にしながらの開校式だった。

We can have the opening ceremony of Phondeua Primary School buildindg. It's my great pleasure Mayor  Chanh Bouphalivanh and Mis.Bunkam, the head of Thakhek Education Bureau participate this ceremony（文・写真／Ｌ．佐野治）

開校式の後は教室の中でラオス式のお祓いの儀式が執り行われる。 2,000キープのお札が巻かれた白糸のミサンガのようなものを手首に結んでお祝いをする。ここで少々の御神酒をお供物を食しながら頂く。その後は校庭に準備された宴会場にて楽しく食事をする。もちろん市長や局長も同席され、そこは上手に次のリクエストの依頼をされる。

We have a praying celemony at a class room after the opening celemony with attendance of the mayor and the head of education bureau. We celebrate each other to give miçanga with 2,000 kip bill. After the praying celemony we can enjoy the banquet at the school ground. That^s my great pleasure.（文・写真／Ｌ．佐野治）

祝賀会の宴会用の食事は村のお母さん達が頑張って裏方をしていただきました。未明には大雨が降っただけに、我々だけでなく村人や学校関係者も不安だったことでしょう。でも天気は快晴、食事も美味、皆様の嬉しそうな笑顔、無情の喜びをライオンズクラブの参加者は感じることが出来て、人生観や価値観が変わったのでは……

Villagers make great efforts to give us a lot of thanks for construction of their school. Good taste of each meal, good weather, a lot of smiling of villagers, looking at these we would like to continue and promote our project for Thakhek, Lao PDR.（文・写真／Ｌ．佐野治）

16:40バンコク到着。定刻より40分遅れだが20:30のヴィエンチャン行きのフライトまでは4時間程の待ち時間。喫煙者の2人と別れてL佐久本とPriority Cardラウンジにて時間を快適に過ごす。

We arrive at BKK airport 40 minutes delated. L. Sakumoto and I enjoy good service at the lounge of Priority Card without any charge until our flight to Vientiane by Laos Airlines.（文・写真／Ｌ．佐野治）

無事にVientianeに到着。NPO国際学校建設支援協会の石原代表が空港まで出迎えて下さった。残念ながら当地は雨でナイトマーケットも既に閉店。

We arrive at VTE(Vientiane Int. Airport) in safety. Mis.Ishihara, a president of ISSC has waited for us at the airport in the rain evening. Night market has already closed to our regret.（文・写真／Ｌ．佐野治）

【６月１３日】大分に学校の校舎らしくなってきました。完成ももうすぐです。

今回は屋根が設置されているから、かなり工事が順調に進んでいるので安心だ。生徒のお父さんや村民の皆さんの学校建設への熱い期待と労働奉仕が写真からひしひしと伝わってくる。降雨でも内装工事が可能になるな…

I'm glad to receive 3 picturers of Phondeua Primary School under construction today. I feel happy that fathers of pupils and villagers give a lot of efforts to construct the primary school at that village.

【５月１５日】

Phondeua小学校の建設中間報告の写真が届いた。前回と比較するとかなり進んでいるのが理解出来る。小学校の生徒のお父さん、村の皆さん本当にご苦労様です。8月下旬の開校式には1人でも多くのメンバーと一緒にお祝い出来るよう期待しています。

I'm glad to get a picture of Phondeua Primary School at Thakhek of Lao PDR under construction. We, members of Lions Club, are looking for to visit and celebrate the opening celemony in late August.

【５月２日】

ライオンズクラブの学校建設支援をしているポンド小学校から新校舎建設の進捗状況報告の写真が届いた。何故か自分の家が出来上がるような喜びを感じる。8月の開校式が楽しみだ。国際学校建設支援協会様とのコラボレーションのお陰です。

I'm glad to get a picture of new school building under construction of PHONDEUA PRIMARY SCHOOL at Thakhek in Lao PDR. This school is sponsered by Naha-Chuo Lions Club.

ライオンズクラブの学校建設支援をしているPhondeua小学校に昨日購入した教科書と音響機器を贈呈。日曜日なのに近隣の生徒たちが大勢集まってくれた。

We give our siscere presents of textbooks and speaker set to Phondeua primary school. Many pupils of this school wait for our arrival even on sunday morning.

Phondeua小学校建設支援において木材の伐採許可が交渉しても下りなかったので、鉄骨造に変更するのに時間がかかってしまった。現在は建設用水確保のための井戸掘り中。10m程で水が出てきている。ここまでくると後3ヶ月程度で学校が出来上がる。村民も頑張って労働奉仕をしてくれる。

The new school building of Phondeua primary school is now under construction. It will be 3 months befor our new school building is completed.

教育局のKheomani先生と半年振りの再開。先生と抱き合って喜ぶ。教室にて今後の打ち合わせと最終契約に各々が署名押印をする。

We are glad to meet again with Mr.Kheomani of the education bureau since 6 months They sign ther names on the final contract paper with stamps.

昼食は近くの食堂にて教育局の方達と一緒に談笑しながら摂る。肝っ玉母さんの事務局長のBunkam先生が全員の代金を支払ってくれた。珍しい出来事！

We take lunch at a little restaurant near the school. I'm surprised the payment is done by Mrs. Bunkam, like a big mama.

昼食後に事務局長のBunkam先生が是非見てもらいたいXiengxone小学校があるとのことで、車で約30分の小学校に到着。村民がお金を出し合いここまで自分達の力で作ったが、刀折れ矢尽きた状態の学校。旧校舎は竹編みの老朽化して使い物にならない状態。驚くことにトイレが無いの学校だ。胸が痛くなる。

Mrs.Bunkam leads us to another school about 30 minuits by car. The new school building is now stopped on the way of construction due to shortage of money. Villegers have already done all for the school, nothing to do by themselves. In addition I can't find any toilet here, how come !

熱中症になってしまった。先週Laos北部で大変寒い思いをしたのと、冬の時期と甘い考えだった。午後からは暑さが一段と増して、視野に映る景色が真っ白になり、意識朦朧と嘔吐。教育局始め村民の皆様の温かい対応に感謝。改めて暑い国を再認識。

バンコクに着いてしまったが、ここで乗り換えのため明日の1:45発のフライトまで11時間30分もの時間をどう過ごすか。こういう時こそ直行便の有り難さが身にしみる。時は金なりと考えるか、絶対価格の安いフライトを選ぶか？予約する時にはやはり少しでも安いフライトを探すが、空港にて待機する度に次回こそもっと楽なフライトをと思うのが何時ものパターンだ。

I have already arrived at BKK airport.  I have to wait around 11 hours and a half here until 1:45 tomorrow early morning for my flight to Hong Kong. It's waste of time, of course I know always.

　２０１６年８月にＮＰＯ法人国際学校建設支援協会の石原代表と現地を視察。

建設場所と現在の状況について確認。募金活動を開始する。
